Hey there – wow, yes, it’s been awhile since I posted here. What a nice note – and a nice reminder…

I still sit in silence daily, but I did really enjoy posting about the experience. Food for thought…perhaps I’ll come back here. In the meantime I’ve been working on my new website (www.jriccienergy.com) – but as that gets finalized this could well be a new (renewed) creative outlet.

Thanks for planting the seed…!!

This underscores the importance for each of us to periodically take time throughout our days to find a little time to be quiet and listen/feel the guidance that comes to us in form of the still soft voice and which is often drowned out by the noise of our normal days.

it’s about getting comfortable with oneself, I think. Learning to quiet the relational self (the one the compares and contrasts all the time) and get back to who we Are. Stilling the mind, silence.

one can discover some astonishing things about oneself through such ‘practice’ one’s pulls and avoidances, ones inclinations. The mind throws up all sorts of matter for consideration.

a journey into the inner heart of the self.

You are dead on! The source [I love that title] did not create and run. listen to the relationship expressed in the Christian understanding found in the New Testament book of Hebrews.
The Son reflects God’s own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of his command. After he died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven
In this Jesus is seen as continuing with creation, actually holding it together!
The Greeks had a term for “the source”, they called it Logos. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. English translators lacking the concept “source” or” Logos” called it, the Word.
So the source is seen as creating, and then holding together.
To think we are it, however confused the Creator with the Creation.
I asked a guy once about the theology if A.A., he said” Well i learned something, there is a God, and I ain’t Him.” Rough perhaps, but accurate!
