The world’s deep hunger … #Quote 149

The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.

*With this post, I see it’s time for me to address the “God” thing. I have long steered away from this word in my posts, in my readings, in my life. At long last, however, I’ve come to a place where I can accept – and even embrace – “God,” at Its pure core, as one of countless explanations for the unexplainable. I myself call it Source. You can call it whatever is right for you. My sincere hope is that your word, your explanation, your understanding, your belief, your faith, is rooted in unconditional Love. There are many rivers, all leading to the same sea, and that sea is indeed infinite Love. There is no Other.

  2. Absolutely beautiful. After some time away from blogging, it is precisely loving places like yours here that lift my heart and help me remember what I love about this activity. After many years of using other words for God, such as Source which I still use, I now am at peace with the word. Thank you for this incredible post, and your wise statement of many rivers leading to the same sea of Infinite Love. Namaste. Gina

    • Gina – what a beautiful note – thank you for taking the time to write it. Blogging is like everything, right – it matters most just that we find what resonates with us…and at some point we seek out that which also uplifts and expands us. I am so happy to be part of your path, and to have you sharing mine as well. – j.
